Ode to Lorraine in Wine Spectator's Top 100
Ode to Lorraine 2005 has been named at # 16 in Wine Spectator Magazine's Top 100 Wines of 2008'. This is the third time in the past 8 years that Elderton has been listed in this very prestigious list, proving the genuine pedigree of the Barossa based family owned company.
The Ode to Lorraine has been complimented in the December 15 issue of Wine Spectator, as a 'Highly Recommended' feature in the buying guide with a 95 Point, list-topping review from Harvey Steiman (shown below).
Highly Recommended: 2005 Elderton Ode to Lorraine: "Rich, focused an superbly concentrated to show off its intense, rosemary-accented black cherry, plum and blueberry flavours, riding smoothly on a dense, generous frame that feels plush and seductive, yet the flavours come through transparently. Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Drink now through 2017."
